Chris goes back to work on Tuesday but the kids are off school until January 9th. Miss M is already missing school and asking when she gets to go back. Our little pirate (whoops, I mean BIG pirate - he always corrects me when I say "little") would be happy to stay home for always - he is a major home-body, our boy.
Here are some pictures of the gang during the holidays. We had a great time but missed you all - Christmas isn't the same without family.
To kick off the holidays,
we decorated some sugar cookie houses - there was lots of taste testing!
Miss M was a snowflake in the Kindergarten Christmas concert - the two classes practiced and practiced to get the show just right. They were asked to keep it a secret so it was a surprise for all the parents. They were amazing and got a huge round of applause.
Here is our little snowflake twirling across the stage - she nailed it!
Christmas Eve
We made sure to put Santa's key out for him since we don't have a chimney.
The kids put out the reindeer food so they wouldn't miss our house.
Santa gets tired of cookies and milk ya know...
Christmas morning....time for stockings!
A happy girl with Santa's gift of an art set.
And a very happy boy -
he wouldn't have argued if this was his only gift!
We had to convince him to open the others.
All sorts of puppets were under the tree - can't wait to be treated to a show!
Thanks Nanny and Grampy and Aunty Cheri and Uncle Paul!!!
High fives
Awwwww....
Daddy is always clowning around so the kids
thought he could use some juggling balls!
...And a house coat
Aaaaaarrrrrrrr!
Cutest Canucks fans....EVER!
Some Boxing Day toboganning
We built the puppet theatre with the Crazy Forts set the kids got for Christmas
and were treated to some songs and laughs
Stylin'!
Enjoying our little backyard rink
Taking a break from all the hustle and bustle of Christmas
to search for some pirate treasure
